Having first stepped foot in a Cornerstone office at the age of five, I have a particularly unique perspective of the firm. While most people saw a newly built office and a freshly compiled team of advisors, I saw new friends. I hoped to be in the office to greet clients and offer them one of my original crayon flower drawings. While most five-year-old girls enjoyed playing house or with dolls (which there was plenty of that to be done as well), I enjoyed playing “Financial Advisor.” As I continued to grow up, the people at Cornerstone truly became part of my family.
Upon beginning my junior year of college at the University of Mississippi, it became time to officially declare my major. Though being a doctor or journalist seemed exciting, I could not help but listen to the voice of the little girl inside me who always drove my passion for Finance. I graduated from Ole Miss in 2022 with a BBA in Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance. Following graduation, I moved to Tampa, Florida where I worked for an investment management firm. There I continued to expand my knowledge of the industry and learned first-hand from seasoned financial professionals and mutual fund managers. Commuting to work on a bridge over the ocean every morning was a dream of mine I had accomplished; however, after five years of being away, my heart drew me home.
I now am blessed to work with a group of individuals I am lucky enough to call family and coworkers here at Cornerstone. As a Wealth Advisor, I hope to build trust with my clients based on my integrity and passion for what I do. My goal is to make a profound difference in the everyday lives of those I work with.
After 5 o’clock you can find me learning my way around the Pickleball court or exploring local happy hours. On Saturdays, I’m fiercely cheering on the Rebels alongside my boyfriend and fellow Ole Miss grad, James.
