John Wehmer is a personal financial advisor who combines his love for numbers and finance with his desire to help others pursue their financial goals. He enjoys learning about each client's unique situation and creating a comprehensive plan to help them work toward their aspirations. John believes that financial lives can be complex, but his straightforward approach helps clients gain clarity and understanding about their circumstances and decisions, so they can feel confident about their financial future.

Prior to joining Cornerstone Wealth Management in 2016, John worked at a national brokerage firm. He chose to become an independent advisor affiliated with LPL Financial because it provided a wider range of investment options to better serve his clients' interests. This means his clients can expect personalized guidance, transparent advice and fees, and clear communication.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Banking from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he graduated in 2007. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, which enhances his knowledge of financial planning opportunities and enables him to provide more comprehensive advice.

Originally from Florissant, Missouri, John has been living in St. Charles since 2007. He is actively involved in his community and has served in various roles with the United Way, Saint Louis Zoo, Kiwanis, and the Saint Charles Chamber of Commerce. At home, John enjoys spending time with his wife, Heather, and their three children, Jackson, Lyla, and Juliet.
